Translate English into Thai (ภาษาไทย) that sounds friendly and respectful - for street food stalls in Bangkok, landlords in Chiang Mai or partners and colleagues across Thailand. Free, no sign-up.
Thai is the national language of Thailand and is written in its own alphabet of 44 consonant letters, with vowels that can sit before, after, above or below the consonant. Words run together with no spaces - spaces mark the end of a phrase or sentence instead - and politeness is carried by small particles at the end: ครับ (krub) when a man speaks, ค่ะ (ka) when a woman does. translator.im handles the script, the spacing and the particles so your Thai reads as polite and natural rather than machine-made.
Survival Thai for markets, restaurants and taxis. Men end with ครับ (krub), women with ค่ะ (ka). Tap any row to copy it into the translator above.
Thai is heavy on context: pronouns are often dropped, and the same sentence shifts with who is speaking to whom. Large-language-model translation reads the whole message and chooses wording a Thai speaker would actually use.
Requests and greetings get ครับ or ค่ะ where Thai expects them. Tell us you are a man or a woman and the particle and pronoun (ผม or ฉัน) will match.
Tone marks, stacked vowels and the no-spaces-between-words convention are all respected, so the output looks right on LINE, Facebook or a printed sign.
