Using the service
You may use translator.im for personal translation needs without an account. You agree not to abuse the service, attempt to overwhelm it, or use it to break the law. We may rate-limit or block traffic that looks automated or harmful.
Your content
You keep ownership of whatever you translate. You give us a narrow, time-limited permission to process that content for the sole purpose of returning a translation. We do not claim rights over your source or translated text.
Accuracy
Translations are produced by AI models. They are usually fluent and faithful, but they can be wrong, especially with idioms, legal language, medical content or names. Do not rely on translator.im as the sole source of truth for high-stakes decisions.
Availability
We aim for high uptime but make no formal guarantee on the free tier. The service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or because of upstream model providers.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, translator.im is provided as-is and we are not liable for damages arising from translation errors, downtime, or use of the service. You use it at your own discretion.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. If we do, we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of translator.im means you accept the new terms.
