Nepali speakers write to the world in English every day - for study applications, overseas work, tourism and business. Nepali drops pronouns freely, puts the verb last and builds respect into every verb ending, so a word-for-word conversion produces broken English. translator.im reads the whole sentence and rebuilds it as natural English, turning 'खाना खानुभयो?' into the friendly greeting it really is rather than a literal question about lunch.

Three things that make the biggest difference with Nepali input.
Many older Nepali documents were typed in the Preeti font, which looks like Nepali on screen but copies out as Latin gibberish such as 'g]kfn'. If your pasted text looks like that, it is not Unicode - retype it, convert it with a Preeti-to-Unicode tool, or try a clear screenshot in Image mode.
Nepali often skips the subject, so 'आउँदैछु' alone could be 'I'm coming' with no clue who 'I' is in a longer story. Paste the full message so the model can work out who is doing what.
Chat-style Nepali ('ma ghar jadai chu') works, but spellings vary a lot. If something comes out oddly, adding a few words of context or switching to Devanagari usually fixes it.
